Ivan Mihaljevic & Side Effects - Counterclockwise

I really loved the music. It spoke to certain basic human instincts and needs such as the quality of life, and interpersonal relationships.

I especially liked the vocalist. His voice was piercing and added a great aspect to the songs he was singing in.

The guitar work is absolutely brilliant. It reminds me a lot of Led Zeppelin.

Of course, each song is different, but overall, this is great rock and roll.  They call it "Eclectic Rock”, and I'd say it's great listening anyway.

The drummer provides riffs when needed and direction when it's needed. He propels the theme forward or supplies back beat and rhythm.

There are many moments of brilliance such as the surprising harmonies at the end of "What is Underneath" and heart-tugging intros.

The track 'Eclipse" in particular runs your emotions up then down then back up again. One of the best tracks that I have listened to in several years. And I love his voice!

'Driving Force' catches you with its slow deceptive start.

Anyway, the whole album is fantastic:  undoubtedly a 'must have'!
